When the U.S. Navy discovered I played guitar I was put in what they called a "music company" which contained musicians and guys with college credits. I played in the Officer's Club band in 1968.
I played guitar during my time at Naval Air Station Kingsville, Texas and used the ability to land a job as an actor and host at the Windmill Dinner Theater when I got out of the Navy in 1970.
