Quit guitar in 1974

Basically, I quit playing guitar when I started acting in theater and dinner theater in addition to my job as a broadcast journalist in 1974.

Windmill Dinner Theater

I played guitar during my time at Naval Air Station Kingsville, Texas and used the ability to land a job as an actor and host at the Windmill Dinner Theater when I got out of the Navy in 1970.
 

Guitar in Pennsylvania

Upon graduation, since Sousaphones do not generally attract girls, I switched to a Fender concert guitar and taught myself to play. I played in ski clubs and restaurants in the Pocono Mountains in the late 60s.
