Lori Dagmar on the 4th of July

Lori Dagmar Crews is my wonderful wife. I have about 5,000 photos of her and here is one from July 4th, 2022.

I think she's beautiful, but she claims she is only "just cute."

There are so many amazing things about this woman. 

She knows all the names of Elizabeth Taylor's husbands and all the wives of Henry the Eighth. 

She performed as an actress in South Dakota in 1971 and 1972. 

She has seen a half-dozen musicals on Broadway. 

She's been to Mexico, Canada, Germany, Austria, England, and Japan.

And still, as worldly as she is, she chose to marry me. I am so glad.

Walking to keep my health

Since I am seventy-seven and have weak knees and chronic heart failure, walking is about the only exercise I can get. 

Lori and I walk every day and I have a pedometer on my waistband.

You can lead a normal life, even if you have Heart Failure because I understand my responsibility to follow the treatment plan. My doctor and Jave Weaver in the VA pharmacy unit take great care of me. 

My liver, kidney and thyroid functions are perfect. My A1C is 7.5% and my blood sugar and blood pressure are better than they have ever been.

As I have often said, the VA Hospital is keeping me alive. Thanks.
