In 2005, my job as an editor and writer at the Human Resources Institute in St. Petersburg was good but challenging work. I was way beyond my level of competence.
Finally, in May 2008, I was fired. Since I had never gone to college, I was never particularly good at academic writing, so I was not surprised.
I was also the oldest employee.
