I was released from Tampa General Hospital, cancer-free, on July 4th, 1982.
I have not smoked since I tried it for one week in 1967, but my cancer came from second-hand smoke. Long before smokers were sent outside, all the people in my office had been smokers.
To this day, if someone lights up, I leave.
