Since I was a deejay for school dances at Wooster High School, I had introduced my fans to this fantastic new band from England called The Beatles.
So, naturally when their first movie, A Hard Day's Night came to Ohio in 1964, my boss at WWST Radio sent me to host the premiere of the film.
I mentioned the sponsor but the moment I said, "The Beatles", screams went up all over the packed theater.
