At 65, I lived in Dunedin, Florida, with my wife, Lori. One last attempt to live in Florida and have a good relationship with my elderly mother, Dee Ray Crews.
Lori was working as a nanny to wealthy Clearwater folks, and I was a ticket-taker at the Cobb 12 Theaters at Countryside Mall.
We lasted until the winter of 2013.
We spent a month with Lori's cousin in Walnut Creek, California, visited San Francisco a few times, and landed in Reno, Nevada in March of 2013.
Why? Because we heard that there was a beautiful river that ran right through downtown Reno.
