At my first job in radio, at WWST in Wooster, Ohio in 1964, the station's engineer pranked me.
He ran into the control room and shouted, "We're off the air! Make an announcement!"
I opened the microphone and said, "WWST Radio in Wooster, Ohio is currently off the air."
Then it dawned on me.
